Thousands of geoscientists, prospectors, investors and other industry insiders gathered at the Vancouver Convention Centre East in January for the 2015 Mineral Exploration Roundup.
Organized by the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia, the Roundup is the third largest annual conference in Vancouver. This year, the Roundup saw more than 6,700 participants from 35 countries.
As usual, it was geared toward junior explorers or those looking to showcase their projects—and according to Robert Hawkins, they didn’t go unnoticed. Hawkins is an advertising consultant for Mining & Exploration (M&E) magazine and he noted a strong interest in the Core Shack at this year’s Roundup.
