LUCKNOW, ON September 9, 2016 - Britespan Building Systems Inc. (Britespan) is happy to announce the appointment of local leader, John MacDonald, as Vice President. John's effective start date was Tuesday, September 6, 2016. As Vice President, John will be heading the manufacturing and operations departments, including the manufacturing and distribution facilities in Wingham, and technical and customer service departments at the head office in Lucknow.

John was born and raised in the Wingham area, and brings a diverse background of manufacturing experience to Britespan from his previous roles at Wescast Industries Inc., spanning over 23 years. During his time at Wescast, John worked in a wide variety of roles, ranging from Materials and Procurement Leader, Manufacturing Leader, and Plant Manager, to his most recent position as President of North American Operations.

"We are very excited to have John join our team here at Britespan," says Ben Hogervorst, President of Britespan. "As Britespan continues its steep growth curve, John's experience will be invaluable."

With the company's busiest season of the year approaching, the time couldn't be better for John to join the team. "We look forward to John's ideas and leadership approach to help our company operate at its best," says Ben.
