Metallis & Talhtan Central Government execute Communications Agreement

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Metallis Resources Inc. (TSX-V:MTS) (“Metallis” or the “Company”) and Tahltan Central Government (“TCG”) are pleased to announce the signing of a Communications Agreement (the “Agreement”) covering the company’s 100% owned Kirkham Property located within the prolific Golden Triangle in BC's northwest.

The Tahltan Central Government is the administrative body of the Tahltan Nation, located in northwest British Columbia. The TCG protects Tahltan Aboriginal rights and title, the ecosystems and natural resources of the Tahltan traditional territory by managing sustainable economic development, and supporting the cultural wellness of the Tahltan community. The Agreement establishes a solid framework and collaborative working arrangement between the parties, based on open dialogue, transparent communications and mutual cooperation with regards to the company’s exploration activities on the Kirkham Property. The Agreement also offers opportunities for cultural, economic and educational support for Tahltan members.

About the Kirkham Property

The 106 sq. km Kirkham Property is located about 65 km north of Stewart, BC within the prolific Golden Triangle. The northern border of Kirkham is contiguous to Garibaldi Resources’ E&L Nickel Mountain Project whereas the northeast corner of Kirkham is within 12 km of the Eskay Creek mine and the eastern border is within 15 - 20km of Seabridge Gold’s KSM deposits and Pretium Resources’ Brucejack mine.
