Dynamic Specialty Vehicles Ltd. is celebrating 25 years

by Lisa Crane

Dynamic Specialty Vehicles Ltd. offers the mining industry an integral service—transport. The company is celebrating 25 years, and Joel Landry, who is in vehicle sales, said that Dynamic Specialty Vehicles has experienced steady growth due to its sound customer service and after-sales support—and it provides vehicles in other sectors too: for tour companies, care facilities, hotel chains, schools and agencies requiring emergency vehicles.

The company provides one-of-a-kind versions of the vehicles on the market, and that keeps clients coming back.

Meeting the mining industry’s needs

Landry said that as mineral exploration expands, so does the need for transporting staff comfortably.

“We have joined the Mining Suppliers Association (of B.C.),” said Landry. “We were successful in supplying seven vehicles to a large mining project in northern British Columbia, and now we want to be proactive to connect with the industry.”

Dynamic is targeting transporting mining crews from Point A to Point B, Landry said, but it is possible that the company could offer other transport solutions in the industry.

“We can provide very rugged units that are going to be equipped with personnel who require that sort of vehicle on the site,” said Landry, “and we can provide more upscale units for longer trips to and from the sites . . . We are very adept at customizing vehicles for the user's particular needs.”

Landry said that the customized units for mining include vehicles with features like raised skirts, heavy-duty entrance doors, factory four-wheel-drive chassis and customized tires and axles. The custom design can include lavatories, air purification systems, entertainment systems, Wi-Fi by satellite and 110-volt outlets at every seat.

“We believe that we can excel to become the transport supplier of choice for the mining industry,” said Landry. “We are going to continue to be able to provide transport solutions to mining operators across the province that are suitable and customized for their environment.”
