Favourable economics

With the Young-Davidson Mine operational, Northgate Minerals Corp. is predicting the company’s overall gold production will spike while costs decrease over the next year. Between all the gold properties—which include the Young-Davidson project in Ontario, Kemess in B.C. and Fosterville and Stawell in Australia—the company forecasts the production of 195,000 to 205,000 ounces of gold, averaging $810 to $855 per ounce.
