Joint dialogue

An agreement signed between two Ontario First Nations groups will initiate joint discussion between the two regarding potential economic benefits of and environmental concerns over a nearby mineral deposit. The Marten Falls and Webequie First Nations hope to create a dialogue with government and mining companies to accommodate their concerns about the impacts of a mine site near the Ring of Fire discoveries.
