MABC welcomes a new president

The Mining Association of British Columbia (MABC) board of directors and association staff welcomed Karina Briño as the association’s new president and CEO on August 1, 2011.

Briño brings with her a wealth of experience in the British Columbia mining sector and is highly respected across the industry. MABC is very pleased to have Briño assume such an important leadership role and is confident that she will continue to enhance MABC’s position as the voice of mining in British Columbia.

MABC represents companies involved in the exploration and development, mining and smelting of minerals, metals, coal and industrial minerals in British Columbia. It is regarded as the pre-eminent voice of mining in the province.
