Record numbers

Goldcorp has achieved a record production figure of 2.52 million ounces at an estimated cash cost of $285 per ounce. The company anticipates gold production to rise to 2.7 million ounces for 2011 and worldwide production to increase by 60 per cent over five years. The company is also forecasting six new mines to become operational over the next five years. Goldcorp has assets in Canada, Mexico and Central and South America.
