The Britannia Mine Museum has received a $100,000 donation from Taicheng Development Corporation.

Company president Mr. Peter Cheng made the contribution in support of the museum’s ongoing operations and activities and likes that the museum is a National Historic Site. The museum earns 85 per cent of its operating budget from its admissions, tours, gift shop and membership, with the remaining funding relying on donations and sponsorships.
