CLINTON, November 20, 2015 - Britespan Building Systems Inc. (Britespan) is proud to announce winning the 2015 Huron Manufacturing Association (HMA) Exporting Award. The awards ceremony was held on November 19 at the Central Huron Community Complex in Clinton.

The Exporting Award is awarded to a Huron County manufacturer who has achieved exporting success with improved sales figures outside of Canada, accessing new markets and/or taking more market share.

"We are truly honoured to receive this award and be part of the Huron Manufacturing Association," says Ben Hogervorst, President of Britespan. "We are proud to be one of the many companies that was established in Huron County and that continues to grow and succeed, and this award represents that success and our achievements."

The ongoing growth and expansion of Britespan as a company has continued to create local jobs and contribute to Huron County communities. Britespan's commitment to the principals of world class manufacturing in all aspects of the business allows them to be competitive in a world market. By honing a corporate attitude "why not us" in small town Ontario, Britespan is able to compete in a global market as effective, if not more effectively, than a major city.

Britespan was also a category finalist for the 2015 Innovative Product Award and the Corporate Citizenship Award. Additional awards won include HMA's Youth Integration and Training Award, Manufacturer of the Year Award, and the Innovative Product Award, all won in 2012.
