Discovery Ventures Inc. appoints new “QP” and Head of Technical Services

Discovery Ventures Inc. is pleased to announce it has appointed Lorne Warner, P.Geo, as the "QP" (Qualified Person) as defined in National Instrument 43-101, and head of technical services of Discovery.

Mr. Warner has joined the Discovery team as its qualified person in the position of Technical Services. Prior to joining Discovery, Mr. Warner was involved in worldwide, management experience in exploration and open pit and underground mining operations and was highly successful in the discovery and delineation of several mineral deposits for various junior mining companies from 2002-2014. These discoveries include the M Gold Zone at the Detour Lake Mine, Ontario as VP Exploration for Tradewinds Ventures, the Fatou Main Gold Zone in Mali and the Falea uranium/silver/copper deposit in Mali, West Africa as VP Exploration for Rockridge and Rockgate Captial Corp. respectively. Mr. Warner's career started with Noranda Exploration Company Limited and Placer Dome Inc. from 1980-2001 with increasing senior positions within various divisions. He is a professional geologist registered in British Columbia, Northwest Territories and Nunavut with a Bachelor of Science - Geology degree from the University of Alberta.
