Energold Drilling Corp. honoured at HSBC International Business Awards

Energold Drilling Corp. is pleased to announce it has won the HSBC Leadership in International Trade in Latin America Award in Toronto.

The HSBC International Business Awards program honours Canadian companies that have successfully branched out beyond our borders.

"Latin America is expected to play home to one of the world's largest economies by 2050, and the world is paying attention," said Linda Seymour, Executive Vice President, Head of Commercial Banking and Regional President, Central and Eastern Canada, HSBC Bank Canada. "Energold Drilling Corp. has experienced record growth from a diversified revenue mix, which is no small feat, and we wish them continued success in the years to come."

Energold Drilling Corp.'s CEO Fred Davidson credits the Company's focus on social and environmental responsibility, as well as its commitment to innovation and new drilling technologies. "We built the Company from primarily mineral drilling with small rigs and today we have conventional rigs which service the clients' project sites, seismic drilling for energy projects and also the ability to custom build rigs for specific client requirements. As a global drilling solutions provider, we recognize the importance of being adaptable to wherever our clients work." said Mr. Davidson.

Entries were reviewed for technical and business merit by an independent panel of experts in international business from Canadian Business, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, Export Development Canada, the Economist Intelligence Unit, the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University and the Sauder School for Business at the University of British Columbia.
