Names in the news: Resource moves and appointments

There have been several recent resource moves and appointments in the mining and exploration industries. 

Richard Grayston and David Weisser have joined the board of Logan Resources Ltd. Grayston is CEO and president of Camex Energy Corp. Weisser is president of Art Connection Inc. and Touchstone Sports and Entertainment.

Marc Prefontaine has been appointed to the board of Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd. He was previously president and CEO of Grayd Resource Corp.

Bob Singh has been appointed CEO and director at Redstar Gold Corp. He is founder and president of North Face Software Ltd.

Randy Reichert has been appointed co-CEO and COO at Yukon-Nevada Gold Corp. Barry Goodfield has been appointed to the company’s board. Reichert was previously president and COO for Colossus Minerals Inc. and COO of Oriel Resources PLC and Orsu Metals Corp. Goodfield is founder of the Goodfield Institute and a senior professor at Henley-Putnam University.

Michael McMillan has been appointed CEO of Galore Resources Inc. He is founder of J&M McMillan Properties Inc.

Paul Hung has joined the board of Jayden Resources Inc. He is associate director at Savills PLC.

Stuart Crawford has been appointed CFO of THEMAC Resources Group Ltd. He is financial controller of the Tulla Group.

Peter Campbell has been appointed to the board of Rogue Iron Ore Corp. He is a senior mining analyst with Jennings Capital

Thomas Bagan has been appointed vice-president of project development at Newstrike Capital Inc. He was previously vice-president, corporate development, at Minefinders Corp.
