(OTCBB: GSAT) announced recently that all second generation satellites are now in full commercial service, completing the world's most modern satellite communications network. With all satellites in service, Globalstar has re-emerged as the leader in mobile satellite communications.

In a recent earnings call, Globalstar reported that new duplex voice and data subscribers doubled in the second quarter and minutes of use increased 41%.

These new satellites have a 15-year design life, doubling the life span of Globalstar's earlier satellites.
