MEDARO MINING COMMENCES GROUND FIELDWORK AT CLAY HOWELLS WEST RARE EARTH ELEMENT PROJECT, ONTARIO

Medaro Mining Corp. has initiated Phase 1 ground exploration activities at its Clay Howells West rare earth element project in northern Ontario, marking a significant step forward in the systematic evaluation of this early-stage property. Located approximately 50 kilometres north-northeast of Kapuskasing within the broader Clay-Howells alkalic intrusive/carbonatite complex, the project area is characterized by geological features typically associated with REE mineralization, including syenites, carbonatites, massive magnetite units, and fault-altered breccias.

The comprehensive Phase 1 program encompasses multiple exploration methodologies designed to enhance geological understanding and generate priority targets for follow-up work. Key activities include ground-based radiometric surveying using portable gamma-ray spectrometers, reconnaissance geological mapping focused on lithological contacts and structural features, targeted rock and soil sampling campaigns, and systematic data integration. The program is expected to collect 50-100 rock samples and 100-200 soil samples, with all samples submitted to accredited laboratories for multi-element analysis including rare earth elements.
