2015 CIM convention will explore New Dimensions

CIM's annual convention takes place May 10 to 13 in Montreal.

New Dimensions is the theme of the 2015 CIM Convention In Montreal. The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum's biggest event of the year takes place May 10 to 13 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal.

Over 6,000 mining industry professionals are expected to be there to take in numerous workshops, the technical program, the expo, M4S and other programs and events.

The technical program will explore a wide range of topics from innovation in the mining industry, issues and ethics, environment, 3D modeling, and even the engineering challenges around planetary mining.

Expo! is celebrating its 32nd anniversary and is sold out again this year. Nearly 500 exhibiting companies will feature the latest in mining equipment, tools, technologies and services. MS4 is CIM's education outreach initiative and teaches visitors how mining impacts their daily lives.
