A.I.S. Resources engages Geo Data Solutions GDS Inc. to Complete Airborne Magnetic and VLF-EM Geophysical Surveys at its Pocologan Project, New Brunswick

A.I.S. Resources Limited has announced the commencement of a comprehensive airborne geophysical survey program at its Pocologan Project in New Brunswick, marking a significant step forward in the systematic exploration of this early-stage copper-gold-silver prospect. The company has engaged Geo Data Solutions GDS Inc. to conduct high-resolution helicopter-borne magnetic and very low frequency electromagnetic surveys covering 579 line-kilometres, including 500 line-kilometres of traverse lines at 50-metre spacing and 79 line-kilometres of tie lines.

The Pocologan Project represents a strategically positioned exploration asset located approximately 40 kilometres west of Saint John, covering 21.5 square kilometres in southern New Brunswick's established mining jurisdiction. The project is interpreted to have potential for iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) or magmatic copper-gold style mineralization, with historical surface prospecting reportedly identifying copper, gold, and silver mineralization in multiple target areas including Pennfield Station-Pocologan River and Red Head Harbour zones.

The planned survey utilizes advanced geophysical technology including high-sensitivity cesium magnetometers and multi-channel VLF-EM systems mounted on an Astar 350 B2 helicopter. The comprehensive data package will include processed residual total magnetic field data, first vertical derivative magnetic data, and VLF-EM profile products, which will be integrated with existing geological and geochemical information to refine target areas for future exploration phases.

This geophysical program represents a methodical approach to early-stage exploration in a region with favorable infrastructure including proximity to highways, rail, power, and deep-water port facilities at Saint John.
