ARBOR METALS COMMENCES PHASE 1 2026 DRILL PROGRAM AT JARNET LITHIUM PROJECT

Arbor Metals Corp. has launched its Phase 1 2026 exploration program at the Jarnet Lithium Project in Quebec's Eeyou Istchee James Bay region, building on encouraging lithium results from its 2025 drilling campaign. The previous program delivered notable intercepts including 1.56 metres grading 5,781 ppm lithium (0.57% Li) from hole JAR25-014 at the Prince Zone, and 1.5 metres grading 2,224 ppm lithium (0.22% Li) from JAR25-015, demonstrating the presence of significant lithium-bearing pegmatite systems across the property.

The current Phase 1 program represents a strategic five-week initiative comprising approximately 2,200 metres of diamond drilling across eight holes from four drill setups. The program will primarily focus on expanding known mineralization at the Jarnet 2 zone while also testing high-priority targets at Firebird, Corvette, and St. Pierre areas that were identified during earlier exploration campaigns. This systematic approach reflects management's confidence in the project's broader lithium potential within a district that has attracted significant industry attention.

The Jarnet project's strategic positioning adjacent to Patriot Battery Metals' Shaakichiuwaanaan Property (formerly Corvette Project) places it within one of Quebec's most active lithium exploration districts. The project encompasses 83 map-designated claims covering approximately 5,606 hectares, with geological similarities to other successful lithium discoveries in the region. The presence of parallel pegmatite dykes along greenstone-peridotite contacts, as evidenced by anomalous lithium values in the Corvette claim blocks, suggests potential for discovering additional mineralized zones.

This drilling program represents a critical phase in advancing the Jarnet project toward resource definition, particularly given the growing importance of Quebec's James Bay region as a lithium supply hub for North America's emerging battery supply chain.
