The 21st annual conference for the Canadian Aboriginal Minerals Association will be held at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver. Exploring Values, Mining Decisions is the name of the conference, with the subtitle Maximizing Community & Minerals Industry Resources for the Benefit of All. Presentation topics include innovative partnership agreements, clean energy, technological advancements and aboriginal people in a leadership role. Waneek Horn-Miller, an Olympic athlete and a social and political activist, will be speaking on the role of aboriginal youth.
