Golder’s Julie Ross appointed to NWT and Nunavut Chamber of Mines

Golder Associates Ltd. is proud to announce the appointment of Julie Ross to the board of directors of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Chamber of Mines for 2013-2014.
Ms. Ross is a Senior Archaeologist in Golder's Edmonton office, with an extensive background in northern environmental and regulatory issues. She will join 23 other mining industry representatives to help lead the Chamber, and advance its mission to promote responsible and sustainable mineral exploration and development in the two territories.
"I am honored to be nominated to the Board," says Ms. Ross. "To me, it confirms the strong relationships I am building with those involved in the Northern mining community." When working with the board, Ms. Ross will draw on her years of experience with Golder and as a regulator to "bring an environmentally-minded, mining-positive perspective to the table."
