Trevor Rhodes has joined Hemmera in Calgary as Business Leader for the firm’s Alberta operations, effective September 14, 2015. Trevor brings nearly three decades of progressive leadership, resource management, and consulting experience in both the government and private sectors in Alberta, BC and Ontario, including over 25 years of fisheries and aquatics expertise. Trevor has built a strong reputation for delivering technical excellence, and is equally recognized for his commitment to superior client service. He is also deeply committed to mentoring and influencing the career development of junior environmental professionals, leading by example how to provide the top-notch technical expertise and unparalleled service. “My deep appreciation for natural ecosystems and habitats has developed through personal interests such as fishing, diving, hunting, and photography,” Trevor explains, “and combined with my formal education in fisheries and wildlife biology have resulted in a passion for the responsible use and management of our natural resources.” He adds, “I get huge rewards from helping clients solve problems and navigate the environmental regulatory requirements of their projects.”
As Business Leader of Hemmera’s Calgary office, Trevor will oversee both the Site Assessment and Remediation and Environmental Planning and Ecology teams in Alberta, and will be the primary point of contact for all corporate initiatives. In addition to providing business leadership, Hemmera’s management team is looking forward to Trevor’s role in building positive and collaborative working environments where staff work safely, grow and also have fun.
