Inomin and Sumitomo Plan Next Exploration at Beaver‑Lynx

Inomin Mines Inc. and strategic partner Sumitomo Metal Mining Canada Ltd. are advancing their joint exploration efforts at the Beaver-Lynx polymetallic project in south-central British Columbia, with plans for an expanded 2026 drilling program. The initiative follows encouraging 2025 drill results that successfully expanded the South zone discovery and confirmed the presence of a large nickel-magnesium-cobalt-PGE mineral system across the 28,000-hectare property.

The upcoming exploration program represents a significant escalation in scope, marking the first drilling campaign at the previously unexplored Lynx block, located ten kilometres south of the current Beaver block focus area. Magnetic surveys have identified multiple high-priority targets at Lynx that appear comparable to, and in some cases potentially larger than, the zones already under development at Beaver. This expansion underscores the district-scale potential of the combined property package.

The project's strategic positioning adjacent to the Gibraltar mine, Canada's second-largest open-pit copper operation, provides exceptional infrastructure advantages including all-season road access, nearby hydroelectric power, and proximity to active rail lines. The surrounding resource communities offer comprehensive services and a skilled workforce, significantly reducing operational costs and development timelines for any future mining operation.

Drilling campaigns to date have intersected a diverse suite of critical minerals including nickel, magnesium, cobalt, platinum, and palladium, along with chromium, copper, silver, and gold, highlighting the polymetallic nature of the mineralization. This commodity mix aligns well with current market demand for critical minerals essential to clean energy technologies and electrification. The partnership with Sumitomo Metal Mining, a major Japanese metals company with significant global mining operations, provides both technical expertise and potential downstream market access for any discoveries.
