Predictive Discovery’s DFS for Bankan delivers good returns

Australian gold reserves developer Predictive Discovery Limited has completed a definitive feasibility study (DFS) for its Bankan gold project located in Guinea, West Africa. The study demonstrates exceptionally strong project economics that position Bankan as a highly attractive gold development opportunity in the region.

The DFS delivered compelling financial metrics with a post-tax net present value (NPV5%) of US$1.6 billion and an internal rate of return (IRR) of 46%, based on a base case gold price assumption of US$2,400 per ounce. The study also projects a payback period of less than two years, indicating rapid capital recovery for investors. These figures reflect current median long-term real consensus pricing and demonstrate the project's resilience across various gold price scenarios.

The completion of the DFS represents a significant milestone for Predictive Discovery as it transitions from exploration to development phase. The robust economics validate the company's strategy in West Africa and highlight the quality of the Bankan deposit.
