The Bellenko silver-lead-zinc project in the Keno Hill Silver District has reached commercial production, according to Alexco Resource Corp. Since the commissioning of the site in the Yukon last September, the mine has ramped up throughput to 250 tonnes per day. Concentrate for smelting and refining began shipping in December after the mine produced 15,700 tonnes of ore and processed 9,000 tonnes.
