Whistler 2013: Geoscience for Discovery (SEG 2013) will take place September 24 to 27, 2013, at the Whistler Conference Centre in Whistler, B.C., Canada. The conference is hosted by The Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) and the SEG Canada Foundation.
The technical program will focus on those areas of economic geology research that lead to the important practical issues of improved exploration concepts, technologies and, ultimately, discovery. Three days of technical talks will be supplemented by related poster sessions, field trips and short courses. Confirmed Keynote presenters include Tom Albanese, Richard Sillitoe, Graham Brown, Jeremy Richards, Shawn Ryan, JoAnne Nelson, Sarah Gleeson and Dick Tosdal.
