Skyharbour option partner Orano Canada commences winter diamond drill program at Preston Uranium
Orano Canada has commenced a 3,600 metre winter diamond drilling program at Skyharbour's Preston Uranium Project in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin. The program includes 11-15 drill holes targeting JL and FSA grids, with a planned CAD $2.2 million budget for 2019 exploration activities. Under their option agreement, Orano can earn up to 70% interest in the project through $8 million in total consideration over six years.
AME Responds to B.C. Budget 2019
The Association for Mineral Exploration (AME) responded positively to B.C. Budget 2019, which includes additional funding for the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources to improve permitting timelines and support Indigenous engagement. Lisa McDonald has been appointed as the new executive director of The Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), bringing over 20 years of experience in the mining industry. McDonald previously served as PDAC Convention director from 2001-2008, helping grow it into the world's premier mineral exploration and mining convention with 30,000 attendees from 135 countries. PDAC represents over 8,000 members globally and recently secured a five-year renewal of the Mineral Exploration Tax Credit through 2024.
