Veolia selected by Toyota Tsusho and Orocobre to supply lithium refining technologies
Veolia Water Technologies was awarded an EPC contract by Toyota Tsusho and Orocobre to build Japan's first lithium hydroxide conversion plant in Naraha, designed to convert 9,500 tpa of lithium carbonate into 10,000 tpa of battery-grade lithium hydroxide. The facility will process feedstock from the joint venture's Olaroz lithium facility in Argentina, supporting Japan's growing battery manufacturing sector.
