94th East Kootenay Zone Surface Mine Rescue and First Aid Competition

The 94th East Kootenay Zone Surface Mine Rescue and First Aid Competition represents nearly a century of commitment to mining safety excellence in British Columbia's coal-rich Elk Valley. Teams from all five active mining operations in the region will demonstrate their emergency response capabilities across five critical skill areas: First Aid, Fire suppression, Bench operations, Rope rescue, and specialized extrication techniques.
