Mining Week - Teck Elk Valley Coal Operations Tours

The week-long program runs from Sunday, May 11th through Saturday, May 17th, with each day featuring tours of different operations including some of Canada's largest coal mines. Transportation logistics have been carefully coordinated with bus pickups from Fernie Chamber of Commerce and Blairmore Mall at 9:30 AM, connecting at Sparwood Chamber of Commerce to gather local participants before departing at 10:30 AM to the designated mining site. Elkford participants have separate pickup arrangements at 11:00 AM from the Elkford Visitor Center for tours on May 12th and 16th.
