Ultimate HDD Skills Competition at ICUEE 2015

The Ultimate HDD Skills Competition represents the culmination of Vermeer's continent-wide search for the best horizontal directional drilling crews. Eight finalist crews from across North America, including Canada's sole representative Ulmer Contracting, will converge at the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) 2015 to compete in practical drilling challenges that test their operational skills, physical capabilities, and technical knowledge. The competition takes place at Vermeer's exhibition booth, providing high visibility for both the contestants and the company's latest drilling technologies. This event showcases the critical role that HDD operators play in modern infrastructure development, from pipeline installation to utility work. The winning crew will receive substantial recognition including twelve months' use of a new Vermeer D24x40 Series II drill, featured placement in key underground construction publications, and exclusive opportunities to test and provide feedback on future Vermeer innovations.
