British Columbia Land Surveyor (BCLS)

Overview

VAST Resource Solutions Inc. is a diverse and growing natural resource management and engineering consulting company providing professional services to clients throughout western Canada. We are seeking a Commissioned British Columbia Land Surveyor to join our team in a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage survey projects from proposal to completion.
• Lead day-to-day operations with support from management.
• Prepare plans, drawings, reports, and proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Provide clients with advice on survey and land development projects.
• Coordinate and direct field crews and technical staff.
• Develop strong client relations and participate in business development activities.
• Uphold company safety policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in legal land surveying.
• Registered as a Professional BC Land Surveyor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering is an asset.
• Knowledgeable in relevant statutes and regulations.
• Proven experience managing project budgets.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Valid BC Driver’s License.
