Experienced Diamond Driller Helper

Overview

Platinum Diamond Drilling is seeking skilled and dedicated surface Diamond Driller's Helpers to support the drillers with setup, operation, and maintenance of drill rigs. This physically demanding role requires a strong work ethic and attention to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the driller with the set-up, repair & maintenance, and safe operation of drilling-related equipment.
• Operate and maintain pumps, hoses, and related support equipment.
• Ensure organization and cleanliness of the drill and drill site location.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance checks.
• Follow instructions and all safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to execute drilling projects effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of diamond drilling helper experience.
• Able to work long hours & shift work for extended periods (12 hrs/day, alternating days and nights).
• Physically fit - capable of heavy lifting (50+ lbs) and standing for extended periods.
• Able to pass spontaneous Drug & Alcohol tests.
• Valid Canadian Driver’s Licence and current Driver’s Abstract.
• Valid Standard (Intermediate) First Aid with CPR/AED Level C, or ability to obtain.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently (asset).
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to drilling operations.
