Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Apprentice

Overview

Elk Valley Resources is seeking a registered 3rd or 4th year Industrial Mechanic Apprentice to join our team in Cranbrook, BC. This site-based position involves maintaining and servicing the processing plant’s stationary equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain stationary equipment including pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Install, inspect, and repair mechanical and hydraulic components.
• Participate in health and safety programs and policies.

Requirements

• Registered 3rd or 4th year Industrial Mechanic Apprentice.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous mining experience is an asset.
