Overview
Elk Valley Resources is seeking a registered 3rd or 4th year Industrial Mechanic Apprentice to join our team in Cranbrook, BC. This site-based position involves maintaining and servicing the processing plant’s stationary equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and maintain stationary equipment including pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors.
- Install, inspect, and repair mechanical and hydraulic components.
- Participate in health and safety programs and policies.
Requirements
- Registered 3rd or 4th year Industrial Mechanic Apprentice.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous mining experience is an asset.
