When: October 16 and 17, 2017
Where: Toronto, Ontario
This course offered by EduMine will take place at DoubleTree by Hilton, located at 108 Chestnut Street in Toronto. It will run for two days, during which attendees will learn about cash flow and discounted cash flow, as they apply to mineral projects.
The instructor and participants will work together in a step-by-step interactive session, developing a working cash flow evaluation model. A laptop and basic Excel knowledge are prerequisites.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to develop a working cash flow model suitable for evaluating a new project. They will also have an understanding of DCF evaluation metrics, discount rates and the time value of money. They will have the opportunity to evaluate a steady-state operation and an expansion project, as well as to compare cost flow options. Lastly, they will be able to create a sensitivity analysis with tables and graphs.
