Provincial and federal governments are doing an environmental review on the Ajax property, a joint project between Abacus Mining and Exploration and Poland-based KGHM Polska Miedz SA. The proposed copper-gold mine, situated 10 kilometres south of Kamloops, B.C., is on property where Teck Resources Ltd. previously operated two mines in the 1980s.
