Graphano Announces Completion of Initial Prospecting Program West of Black Pearl and Identifies New Graphite Discovery

Graphano Energy Ltd. has announced the successful completion of its spring prospecting program in Quebec, resulting in the discovery of a new graphite showing designated Black Jack. The discovery was made approximately one kilometre northwest of the company's existing Black Pearl graphite showing, following evaluation of airborne geophysical conductive zones identified through previous surveys.

The Black Jack discovery represents a significant addition to Graphano's exploration portfolio, featuring an exposed graphite-bearing horizon measuring approximately 110 metres in length and up to 15 metres in width. The company's field team collected 19 grab samples from this mineralized zone for analysis. Initial observations suggest the mineralization extends beyond the current ATI permit boundaries, indicating potential for a larger system than initially identified.

This discovery strengthens the exploration potential of what Graphano views as an emerging graphite trend in the region. The identification of multiple near-surface graphite occurrences supports the company's strategic focus on developing readily accessible graphite resources. The proximity to Black Pearl suggests potential geological continuity that could enhance the overall economic viability of the area.

Graphano has outlined a comprehensive follow-up program including expanded mapping and sampling at both Black Jack and Black Pearl, securing additional ATI permits for expanded stripping operations, mechanical stripping to fully expose the graphite horizons, and systematic geological mapping with channel sampling. The company's systematic approach to exploration reflects industry best practices for developing graphite resources in the current market environment where demand for battery-grade graphite continues to grow driven by electric vehicle and energy storage applications.
