HARFANG PROVIDES UPDATE AT SKY LAKE

Harfang Exploration Inc. has provided an operational update on its wholly-owned Sky Lake Gold Project located in Ontario's Pickle Lake Camp, highlighting both encouraging exploration results and necessary community engagement processes. The company's maiden winter 2025 drill program successfully delineated a continuous high-grade mineralized shoot traced over 250 metres downhole that remains open at depth, demonstrating the strength and continuity of the gold system being explored.

The six-hole, 1,400-metre diamond drill program was completed in March 2025 on the Koval patented claims using modern 3D geological modeling of historical drill data dating from the 1950s through 1980s. This technical approach allowed the company to extend exploration beyond the historically shallow drilling depths, successfully identifying mineralization continuity that supports potential for further expansion with additional work. The results validate Harfang's systematic approach to reimagining historical prospects using contemporary geological techniques.

However, exploration activities have been paused as the company engages in constructive discussions with the Mishkeegogamang Ojibway Nation (MON) regarding required community consultation processes. MON has advised that a Traditional Knowledge and Land Use Study (TKLUS) must be completed prior to advancing permitting processes. While a draft Exploration Agreement has been substantially negotiated, the timing and scope of the TKLUS remain under active discussion between the parties, with no certainty provided on timelines for completion or resumption of exploration activities.

This development reflects the evolving landscape of mineral exploration in Canada, where Indigenous consultation and traditional knowledge integration have become fundamental components of responsible project advancement.
