Medaro Mining Announces Completion of Desktop Study for Clay-Howells West REE Project, Ontario

Medaro Mining Corp has completed a comprehensive desktop study for its Clay-Howells West rare earth element project in northeastern Ontario's Cochrane District. The study, conducted by consulting geologist Shahab Tavakoli, integrated historical geological mapping, exploration data, rock geochemistry, and government airborne magnetic and radiometric datasets to assess REE prospectivity and establish exploration priorities.

The analysis identified two principal styles of potential REE mineralization within the Clay-Howells system: an intrusion-internal magnetite-bearing potassium-rich syenite system, and a contact-hosted thorium-rich light rare earth element-enriched metasomatic system along intrusive margins. The study ranked three target blocks by priority, with Block A emerging as the highest-priority target due to favorable marginal syenite geology, strong geophysical signatures, and elevated thorium-to-potassium ratios indicating potential REE-bearing mineral zones.

The technical framework establishes a foundation for systematic field exploration, with recommendations including detailed geological mapping, ground verification of airborne geophysical anomalies, systematic sampling programs, and potential drilling of priority targets. The proximity to the known Clay-Howells magnetite-niobium-REE occurrence provides geological context supporting the mineralization potential, though the company emphasizes that adjacent property mineralization does not guarantee similar results on their claims.

This desktop study represents a methodical approach to early-stage rare earth exploration in a region with established REE occurrences. The systematic integration of multiple datasets and clear prioritization of targets positions Medaro for efficient allocation of field exploration resources.
