Exploration Midland has initiated a comprehensive ground-based induced polarization geophysical survey covering 24 linear kilometers on its wholly-owned Caniapisc Au project in Quebec's Eeyou Istchee Baie James and Caniapiscau regions. The survey represents a strategic follow-up to successful 2025 exploration programs that identified multiple mineralized boulder trains with significant gold values, including a peak assay of 24.5 g/t Au from selected samples.

The Caniapisc Au project encompasses 315 exclusive exploration rights covering 159 square kilometers within the Archean Superior Province's lesser-explored Ashuanipi Sub-province. The property is strategically positioned within the Raynouard Complex, a 50-kilometer-long volcano-sedimentary belt characterized by bimodal volcanic sequences, metasedimentary rocks, and iron formations. Historical exploration south of the project has demonstrated the complex's potential through volcanogenic Cu-Zn-Ag-Au and porphyry Cu-Au-Ag-Mo mineralizations.

The 2025 exploration campaign successfully validated historical gold anomalies through systematic geological mapping, prospecting, soil sampling, and magnetic-electromagnetic surveying totaling 2,001 linear kilometers. Results identified multiple Au-Zn-Mn-Ag and Au-Zn-Ag-(Pb) mineralized boulders within a 2-kilometer radius up-ice from till gold anomalies, with 16 selected samples returning values exceeding 2.0 g/t Au. Additionally, an amphibolite outcrop in the project's southwestern sector yielded 0.56 g/t Au, providing the first indication of in-situ mineralization.

The current induced polarization survey aims to generate high-priority drill targets while enhancing understanding of bedrock geology ahead of the planned summer exploration program. Upcoming activities include expanded prospecting and geological mapping, comprehensive soil sampling to complete project coverage, and airborne LiDAR surveying. The company is also evaluating mechanical stripping and additional ground geophysics, positioning the project for potential drilling based on survey results and target definition.
