OSISKO INTERSECTS 80 METRES AVERAGING 1.93% Cu AT GASPÉ

Osisko Metals has delivered encouraging initial results from its 2026 drill program at the Gaspé Copper Project in Quebec's Gaspé Peninsula, demonstrating the continued expansion potential of this porphyry copper-skarn system. The company intersected 80 metres averaging 1.93% copper (1.97% copper equivalent) in drill hole 30-1196, along with a second significant intercept of 76.5 metres averaging 0.35% copper in hole 30-1195, both located in the Needle Mountain expansion area.

These results are particularly significant as they were encountered within previously modeled waste rock of the 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate Whittle pit volume, suggesting the potential to convert in-pit waste into additional mineralized resources. The drilling has extended mineralization to vertical depths of 276 metres in the 30-1196 area and 630 metres in the 30-1195 area, with a notable high-grade subinterval of 30 metres averaging 3.49% copper encountered through historical underground workings.

The current program employs five active drill rigs with two additional rigs commencing this month, focused on both upgrading inferred resources to measured and indicated categories and testing lateral expansion opportunities toward Needle East and Needle Mountain. This systematic approach builds upon successful resource increases delivered in 2024 and early 2026, positioning the project for potential pit optimization and resource growth.

For the broader copper sector, these results underscore the continued viability of established mining districts in eastern Canada and demonstrate how modern exploration techniques can unlock additional value in historically productive areas.
