SILVER MOUNTAIN REPORTS HIGH-GRADE SILVER RESULTS FROM SURFACE CHANNEL SAMPLING PROGRAM NEAR THE RELIQUIAS MINE, PERU

Silver Mountain Resources Inc. has announced encouraging assay results from its brownfield exploration program surrounding the 100%-owned Reliquias Mine in central Peru. The surface channel sampling program targeted vein-type structures near the existing mine infrastructure, representing a cost-effective approach to resource expansion.

The standout results came from the Seguridad SE vein, located approximately 2.1 kilometres north of the Reliquias Mine. Channel sampling along a 550-metre segment returned a weighted average grade of 2,003 g/t silver over an average true vein width of 0.45 metres. Individual samples showed impressive grades, including 105.1 oz/t silver over 1.0m true width. The vein may represent the southern extension of the historical Seguridad Mine and could potentially extend the total strike length to over 2.7 kilometres.

These results are strategically significant as they validate Silver Mountain's focus on near-mine exploration as a disciplined capital allocation strategy. The high-grade mineralization identified at surface, in close proximity to existing infrastructure, enhances the overall value proposition of the Reliquias district. The Seguridad SE vein runs parallel to the main Sacasipuedes and Caudalosa vein systems that host the majority of current silver resources at Reliquias.

The timing of these results supports the company's longer-term objective of expanding the resource base as it advances toward a planned production restart. However, investors should note that surface channel samples are preliminary in nature and additional subsurface drilling will be required to determine whether the mineralization extends at depth and to estimate mineral resources in accordance with NI 43-101 standards. The company maintains rigorous QA/QC protocols through certified laboratories in Lima, Peru, lending credibility to the reported results.
