Thunder Gold Options Electra Property, Shebandowan Greenstone Belt, Ontario

Thunder Gold Corp. has executed a definitive agreement with ALX Resources to earn 100% interest in the 4,571 hectare Electra Property, strategically located immediately west and contiguous to the company's flagship Tower Mountain gold project in Ontario's Shebandowan Greenstone Belt. The acquisition terms require $175,000 in cash payments and issuance of 1 million common shares over a 24-month period, representing a modest cost for significant exploration upside.

The Electra Property presents compelling exploration potential with extensive historical work demonstrating gold mineralization along a northeast-trending Timiskaming conglomerate unit parallel to the Thunder Lake Fault. Notable historical results include surface grab samples ranging from 0.10 to 82.5 g/t Au at Bateman Lake, located four kilometres west of the Tower Mountain resource pit. Historical drilling by Avalon Ventures intersected 83.5 metres averaging 0.240 g/t Au, including higher-grade intervals of 10.5 metres averaging 0.621 g/t Au. Additionally, recent work by ALX identified nickel potential in the southern portion of the property, with drilling intersecting 10.5 metres averaging 1,054 ppm nickel.

The acquisition is strategically significant as it provides Thunder Gold with a 4.0 kilometre-long exploration corridor along the Timiskaming conglomerate trend between Bateman Lake and the company's existing STAR Target. This expanded land package offers potential for near-surface satellite gold discoveries that could augment the existing Tower Mountain resource, which currently hosts 3.6 million ounces of gold (514,000 ounces indicated and 3.05 million ounces inferred) as reported in the January 2026 mineral resource estimate.

The timing of this acquisition aligns well with Thunder Gold's ongoing 15,000-metre resource definition drill program at Tower Mountain and positions the company to capitalize on elevated gold prices through expanded exploration targeting. With year-round highway access, proximity to Thunder Bay port infrastructure, and existing road, rail and hydro at property boundaries, the combined Tower Mountain-Electra land package represents a compelling development opportunity in a proven gold district. The transaction requires TSX Venture Exchange approval and reinforces Thunder Gold's systematic approach to building a significant gold resource in northwestern Ontario.
