Thunder Gold Purchases Freehold Patent In Shebandowan Greenstone Belt, Ontario

Thunder Gold Corp. has strategically expanded its Tower Mountain gold project in Ontario's Shebandowan Greenstone Belt through the acquisition of the adjacent Halow Patent, reinforcing its position in a highly prospective geological setting. The acquisition follows successful 2025 exploration that identified two significant gold anomalies, including a 100-150 metre wide east-northeast trending zone containing Timiskaming conglomerate across a 700-metre strike length with average grades of 0.363 g/t gold.

The company's recent drilling program, funded partly through Ontario's Junior Exploration Program, comprised five holes totaling 750 metres targeting the ENE striking zone. Four of five holes intersected broad intervals up to 100 metres of distinctive Timiskaming conglomerate with variable pyrite content, while soil geochemistry revealed multiple anomalies exceeding 10 ppb gold. The identified trend extends over 2.5 kilometres southwest toward the Bateman Lake occurrence, suggesting significant exploration potential along this geological corridor.

Tower Mountain maintains a substantial established resource base with 4.3 million ounces of indicated resources and 1.5 million ounces of inferred resources at attractive discovery costs of C$3.95 per ounce. The project benefits from exceptional infrastructure positioning, including year-round paved highway access, proximity to Thunder Bay port facilities, and available road, rail, and hydro connections at the property boundary. With 80% of the Tower Mountain Intrusive Complex remaining unexplored and a 15,000-metre resource definition program underway, the Halow Patent acquisition provides additional geological targets that could materially enhance the project's tier-one discovery potential.
