West High Yield (W.H.Y.) Resources Ltd. has achieved another significant regulatory milestone with the receipt of a draft Environmental Management Act permit from the British Columbia Ministry of Environment and Parks for its Record Ridge Industrial Mineral Mine Project near Rossland, BC. This advancement follows the company's receipt of its Mines Act permit in October 2025 and a draft Highway Access permit in March 2026, demonstrating steady progress through the complex provincial permitting regime.

The EMA permit addresses critical operational aspects including site water management, environmental monitoring, sediment and erosion control, and fugitive dust management for the project. The company is conducting a detailed technical review of the draft permit while working toward finalization with regulatory authorities. Remaining permits including the final Mine Access permit, Water Licence permit, and Occupant Licence to Cut permit are in final review stages, positioning the project for potential construction commencement in 2026.
