Yorbeau Resources Begins Exploration Program on its Beschefer, Selbaie West and Allard Properties in Northwestern Québec

Yorbeau Resources Inc. has initiated a comprehensive exploration drilling program across three strategic properties in Northwestern Quebec, totaling approximately 5,645 meters of drilling. The campaign targets the Beschefer property (2,545m), Selbaie West property (2,100m), and Allard property (1,000m), all positioned in proximity to significant mineral discoveries and historic production areas.

The Beschefer property holds particular strategic value, located just 9 kilometers southeast of the former Selbaie mine, which historically produced 56.9 million tonnes at 0.87% copper and 1.85% zinc. More importantly, it sits immediately adjacent to Abitibi Metals Corp. and SOQUEM's B-26 Zone development project, which hosts 13.0 Mt Indicated at 2.1% copper equivalent. The 2026 drilling program aims to trace this B-26 Zone extension and test induced polarization anomalies along the B-14 gold zone.

The Selbaie West property represents another high-potential target, positioned less than 3 kilometers from SOQUEM's recent discoveries on the adjacent Wagosic property, where drilling intersected 296.9 meters at 1.47% zinc, 0.20% copper, and 18.3 g/t silver within the Selbaie horizon. This mineralized horizon extends onto Yorbeau's property for over 9 kilometers, providing substantial exploration potential. Historical drilling by Yorbeau in 2008 and 2012 had already identified copper-zinc mineralization and a 20-meter zone of copper-nickel disseminated mineralization.

The broader regional context strengthens the investment thesis, with over 56,000 meters of drilling currently ongoing in the area surrounding the former Selbaie Mine. Major players including Abitibi Metals and SOQUEM are advancing significant projects, creating a favorable exploration environment. Yorbeau's strategic land position neighboring these developments provides excellent leverage to district-scale discoveries, with geological interpretation suggesting host rocks could extend several kilometers within the company's property boundaries. The company has committed to additional work over the next 12 months, indicating sustained exploration momentum in this emerging base metals district.
