Defiance Silver Completes Acquisition of Green Earth Metals Inc

Defiance Silver Corp has successfully completed its acquisition of Green Earth Metals Inc., a privately held British Columbia company, through the issuance of 4,954,613 common shares valued at C$1,263,426. The transaction gives Defiance 100% ownership of three copper-gold-silver projects in Sonora, Mexico: Victoria, Espiritu, and Los Ocotes, covering a total of 6,795.22 hectares within Mexico's highly prospective Porphyry-Copper Belt.

The acquisition significantly strengthens Defiance's position in one of North America's most productive mining jurisdictions. Sonora accounts for 75.6% of Mexico's copper production and 25.7% of national gold output, with the acquired projects strategically positioned near major operating mines including Alamos Gold's Mulatos Mine, Pan American Silver's Dolores operation, and Grupo México's massive Cananea copper mine. This proximity to established infrastructure and proven mineralization systems provides substantial exploration advantages.

The Victoria Project emerges as the most advanced asset, with drill permits already in place and geological indicators suggesting porphyry-style stockwork and breccia-hosted Cu-Mo-Au mineralization. Surface alteration patterns, including phyllic alteration overprinting potassic alteration and intense leached capping, suggest potential for secondary copper enrichment at depth. Defiance plans to launch a comprehensive exploration campaign including a diamond drill program at Victoria.

This acquisition aligns with Defiance's strategic mandate to build a diversified portfolio across silver, gold, and copper systems while maintaining capital-efficient exploration practices.
