DLP Resources Confirms a 4.4 km3 magnetic body at the Esperanza Porphyry Copper-Molybdenum Project in Southern Peru which aligns with the typical porphyry ore-forming model

DLP Resources Inc. has reported significant progress at its 100%-owned Esperanza porphyry copper-molybdenum project in southern Peru following completion of advanced 3D magnetic susceptibility imaging analysis. The comprehensive geophysical study, conducted over 16.86 square kilometers using drone aeromagnetic data, successfully delineated a substantial magnetic body with an estimated volume of 4.4 km³ extending to depths of 1,200 meters below surface.

The magnetic anomaly demonstrates exceptional correlation with surface geological mapping, alteration patterns, and geochemical sampling results, creating a compelling target that aligns with established porphyry ore-forming models. The identified magnetic body is positioned at depths of 200-700 meters and exhibits characteristics consistent with the potassic core typical of large porphyry copper systems. Particularly noteworthy is the project's geological similarity to world-class deposits within a 100-kilometer radius, including the Cerro Verde and Toquepala copper mines.

Geochemical analysis of 94 rock samples reveals highly encouraging fertility indicators, with Sr/Y ratios averaging 99.31 and reaching values up to 325. This places Esperanza well within the range associated with large copper deposits, comparing favorably to giant deposits like Sar-Cheshmeh in Iran. The consistent association of gold-silver-arsenic-barium-bismuth-tellurium with anomalous molybdenum, combined with the presence of disseminated tourmaline and bismuth-molybdenum associations, indicates high-temperature hydrothermal fluids proximal to an intrusive source.

The 22,500-hectare Esperanza project's strategic location, situated 35 kilometers southeast of the Cerro Verde copper mine and immediately south of the Chapi copper mine, positions it within a proven metallogenic district. With the magnetic footprint spanning approximately 3x2 kilometers—comparable to super-large porphyry deposits—and strong structural controls evident in the elongated magnetic high, the project presents a compelling exploration target. DLP Resources is advancing permitting for a 2026 drill program while planning additional magnetic survey extensions and detailed sampling programs to further define this significant discovery.
