ION Energy Acquires New Lithium Pegmatite Project

ION Energy has announced the acquisition of the Bliss Lake Lithium Project, a significant land package totaling 5,798 hectares comprised of five contiguous licenses in the Yellowknife Pegmatite Province of the Northwest Territories. This strategic acquisition positions the company in one of Canada's emerging lithium districts.

The project's location is particularly noteworthy, situated less than 15 kilometers from Li-FT Power Ltd's Road Access Group, where extensive exploration has already identified numerous lithium-bearing pegmatites containing over 1% Li2O. This proximity to proven lithium mineralization suggests strong geological potential for similar discoveries on ION Energy's newly acquired ground.

The Yellowknife Pegmatite Province has emerged as a key region for lithium exploration in Canada, benefiting from established infrastructure and year-round road access. The acquisition of Bliss Lake represents ION Energy's expansion into the critical minerals sector, particularly lithium, which remains essential for the global transition to clean energy technologies.
