Klondike Gold Announces 2026 Diamond Drilling Program Underway to Update and Expand Gold Mineral Resources

Klondike Gold Corp. has initiated its 2026 diamond drilling program at the company's 100%-owned Klondike District Project in Yukon Territory's historic Dawson mining district. The program represents a strategic effort to update and expand the company's 2022 mineral resource estimate through systematic exploration of known gold mineralized zones.

The fully funded initial campaign encompasses approximately 8,000 metres of diamond drilling focused on the flagship Lone Star and Stander Zones, with completion targeted for July 2026. An additional phase of up to 5,000 metres is planned for later in the season, bringing the total potential drilling to 13,000 metres. The program aims to expand known mineralized zones, increase resource confidence through infill drilling, and test extensions of near-surface gold mineralization along the company's extensive structural corridor.

The drilling campaign builds upon successful prior exploration that identified broad intervals of orogenic-style gold mineralization associated with quartz vein stockworks and altered host rocks. The company has completed 137 additional drill holes totaling over 19,000 metres since the 2022 resource estimate, providing a substantial database for the current expansion efforts. Beyond resource expansion, the program will gather critical geological, structural, and metallurgical data to support future engineering and economic evaluations.

The Klondike District Project covers the entirety of the historic Klondike Goldfields placer district, one of the world's most historically significant gold regions.
