Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada – Klondike Gold Corp. (TSX.V: KG; FRA: LBDP; OTCQB: KDKGF) (“Klondike Gold” or the “Company”) is saddened to learn of the recent passing of Richard Hughes, a legendary prospector credited with significant Canadian and international mineral discoveries over his lengthy career in the mining industry, including the co-discovery of the world-class Hemlo gold deposit in Ontario during the 1980s. Mr. Richard Hughes passed away peacefully in Langford, BC, at the age of 91.
